Malinska

Located on the western part of the island of Krk, only fifteen kilometers away from the Krk Bridge and Rijeka Airport, in the past Malinska was known for its port, and today it is a famous tourist center. 

What makes it one of the favorite summer resorts is its natural protection from strong winds and a large number of sunny days. This is certainly useful when you want to take a long walk on a promenade stretching for 50 km, use well-maintained bike paths, swim and sunbathe on one of the many beautiful beaches. While this is the perfect combination for lovers of active holiday, for those who prefer peace and quiet, the surrounding places like Porat or Vantačić offer precisely this kind of vacation. As they are located on the west side of the island, there are beautiful sunsets in Malinska and in the surrounding settlements.
